Are you ready for the best soap ever?
Well, you've found it!
I've been experimenting with different recipes over the years. My first soap with Crisco shortening changed when I learned the "Hot Process" method of soap making and discovered avocado oil! This is a great oil that brings all kinds of vitamins to your skin as well as moisturizing, and many other great qualities.
Eventually I ended up with a recipe including avocado, castor, coconut, olive, palm, palm kernel, shea and cocoa butter. Because of the unsaponifiables (see glossary) in the avocado and shea butter, this soap has more oil left in the finished bar to help moisturize and condition your skin.
The coconut and palm kernel oil give you a hard bar, with great cleaning qualities as well as a fluffy lather.
-Olive oil gives great moisturizing and qualities.
-Palm oil also gives you a hard bar of soap as well.
-Castor Oil give you stable lather and conditioning.
-Cocoa and Shea butter give you a hard bar as well as stable lather and conditioning too.
So, up to this time, we're talking 100% natural oils.
Our final ingredients, also the ingredients that make the soap the most fun, are essential or fragrance oils, and colorants, both natural and cosmetic grade manufactured colorants.
This is why we say our soap is 99% to 100% natural. Essential oils are plant based natural fragrances. Fragrance oils are manufactured, though they can contain essential oils as well. We use both essential and fragrance oils. The fragrance oils are all very high quality.
When we use essential oils I try to use natural colorants. This way, those bars are 100% natural. These are also a separate category in our store too.
One of the more challenging aspects of soap making is to figure out how to balance all of the different characteristics of the various oils into a bar of soap that will be hard enough to last, yet be kind to your skin. As soap makers we are always trying to find the best balance to produce a hard bar with fluffy but stable lather that also moisturizes the skin. It can be challenging, but I do believe I've done it! Try it for yourself, and see what you think!
Soap Pricing
Our soap prices start at $6 a bar. However, the more you buy, the better the price. Check out our store for all the wonderful fragrances available. When you buy 4 or more soaps, the price goes down to $5.50 each, and when you buy 10 or more it goes down to $5.00 each!
Also, if you follow us on Facebook we have other specials as well. I post upcoming events, new products, and new fragrances. Many times the website is behind Facebook, so don’t get left behind!
Finally, just so you know what you’re getting, when the soap is ‘born’ it’s a little over 5 ounces. By the time it has cured, and is ready for you to use, it is generally just under 5 ounces. This gives you a very generous sized bar.

Love the smell of licorice? Need a soap to go fishing? Are you intrigued yet? Anise essential oil is used in this white with black (activated charcoal) marbled soap. Anise smells like black licorice, and apparently fish are attracted as well as people. Don't believe me? Google Anise and fisherman's soap. You know, if it's on the internet it must be true?! Anyway, I have had a number of people tell me it actually works!

Black Amber and Lavender Soap
Yumm! Black Amber and Lavender Soap is a lovely blend of lavender, vanilla, musk, amber, tonka bean, and others. The blend doesn't overpower, and while lavender is there, it is a subtle blend. There is enough vanilla in it that it turns a dark brown, so we added a little color of blue, lavender, and white to give it some color. I think you'll really like this one.

Charcoal Tea Tree Soap
Our Tea Tree Soap has been revised! Same great fragrance from tea tree essential oil, but we've added charcoal. So many people have asked if we had a Charcoal Soap, that we decided to remake our Tea Tree Soap into a Charcoal Tea Tree Soap! Tea Tree Essential Oil has been know to have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiseptic properties for skin issues. Now we add activated charcoal for even more benefits! Activated Charcoal is known for detoxifying as well as many of the benefits as tea tree oil. A match made in skin heaven so to speak! I have one customer who uses it as a lice shampoo for kids. 🙂
Coconut Lemongrass Soap
I found this fragrance in a bath bomb in Virginia. I fell in love, so I had to try it in soap too! Uummm! Nice! More lemongrass than coconut, but the coconut softens the lemongrass with a hint of the tropics.

So we put 'de lime in de coconut,' and what a great smelling bar of soap it is! A green and yellow bar with a hint of white, this soap has a very light fresh spa like fragrance.

We use safflower oil in this soap for a light clean easily rinsed feeling. The essential oils in this bar (lavender, eucalyptus, fir needle, tea tree, and patchouli) are designed to help man and critter alike. Besides, I figure if you're giving your dog a bath, you'll end up with one too! Our ranch dogs, Digit and Black Dog, rave about it too! Of course, they'd rather rave than have a bath! I'm new to the line up! People were always asking if we had a patchouli soap. We referred them to our Dragon's Blood Soap, as that was what it reminded everyone of. But, the time has come, and now we have a straight patchouli essential oil soap. This is a creamy off white bar with activated charcoal swirls. I could not decide if I should blend it with another oil, so here it it! Think of the 60's, hippies, musky, and incense. It is definitely a blast from the past! If you order this, let me know what you think. Do we want to blend it with another oil like lavender or orange? Let me know in the comments section or on our Facebook Page.
Perfect Man Soap
The Perfect Man is a wonderful fragrance that will remind you of your man's favorite cologne, or what your perfect man should smell like. I would call this masculine tending toward unisex: Citrus, spice, (and everything nice), and ending with a base of woody and resin notes.
Pineapple Cilantro Soap
Pineapple Cilantro is a very happy blend of pineapple and cilantro. Probably more pineapple than cilantro, but a very upbeat fruity concoction of the tropics! I love this one! Makes me very happy! The bar is pale yellow with some green swirls through it. Surprise! 🙂 This is another new fragrance we're trying out. Enjoy!
